Our Story
Sassafras is a breakfast and lunch restaurant in Denver's Highlands neighborhood. Our original location in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of West Denver opened in 2012, and we have been serving Southern-inspired comfort food to the community ever since.
Our menu features dishes influenced by Southern American cooking traditions, all crafted using locally sourced and organic ingredients. Our cocktail menu has earned national recognition, with made-from-scratch Bloody Marys, mimosas in unique seasonal flavors, and award-winning milkshakes.
